Memorial Brick Program
A Veterans Memorial has been constructed to pay respect to all veterans, including the over 2000 that are buried at the Historic Sumter Cemetery. This project was completed in early May of 2024 and was dedicated later that month. In conjunction with the memorial, a 3-foot brick path has been added around the perimeter to allow people to memorialize family and friends. Engraved bricks will cost $75. What remains after engraving costs will be used to fund additional memorial projects and historic features.
Please download this form and follow instructions to order bricks.

Lot owners, families of those buried at the cemetery and the general public were invited to attend.
